Tutoring Details
About Eeman:
After studying A Level Economics, French and Physics at a grammar sixth form, I obtained grade B in all three subjects. I took a year out before going to university in which I taught myself A Level Biology and Chemistry and obtained a grade A and B respectively. I graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a BSc (with Honours) Biomedical Sciences. I am currently doing a PGCE course at the University of Oxford, training to become a secondary school teacher.
My GCSEs comprise of 5 A*s, 4 As and 2 Bs.
GCSE Physics- A
GCSE Chemistry- A*
GCSE Biology- A
Experience:
As I have recently completed my A levels, I still have a strong grasp of the knowledge required to obtain good grades in the subjects. My colleagues, peers, and students tell me that I have a good way of explaining concepts. I enjoy helping others learn and understand. I am patient and eager to help pupils who may be struggling so that they may succeed.
Tuition Approach:
Primary School (KS2)
It is never too early to learn about the Sciences. If you would like to have a science tutor for your child but they are still in primary school, then these tuition sessions would be great for you. Tailored to suit young minds, this is a fun and great way to introduce your child to the wonders of the world of science. Further details can be discussed to suit your child's needs.
Secondary School (KS3-5)
General- I will first make sure that the pupil understands the content. I will then work through a problem with them so that they can acquire the skills needed to effectively answer the questions. Then I will give the pupil some more questions for them to attempt independently (and I will help them if need be). After checking their answers, and once I believe the pupil is confident with the topic, I will move on to the next topic. I may be able to provide practice questions for homework which I will collect in the next session and mark before handing back.
Exam Season: Exam Prep Programme-
With exams just around the corner, and many students going on study leave, now is the perfect time for tuition. If you would like some structure to your study leave and want to ensure you are preparing for your exams effectively, having daily tuition is a great way to accomplish your goals. Practising past paper questions is key but receiving feedback is crucial. Not only will I provide students with an understanding of the topic and many practice questions, but I will be sure to provide specific feedback and guidance on exam techniques so that students can attack questions with efficiency and confidence.
Session lengths and days of this programme are flexible and can be discussed, but an example is a 2hr session daily (plus extra practice questions for homework), Monday to Friday for 2 weeks.
